Chicago on CineStill 800T 120 film
I tried CineStill 800T medium format film for the first time using my Fujifilm GW690ii, here's what came out.
I spent a few days in Chicago last month and as I was buying some darkroom chemicals at Central Camera Store I stumbled upon a few rolls of CineStill 800T. I have some in my fridge, but I hadn't taken any with me on the trip. Since I was already running low on film and had gone through most of the rolls I took with me, I decided to buy a roll and give it a go around the city.
I shot these images using the Fujifilm GW690ii, which has a fixed 90mm f3.5 lens and no light meter. All of these were exposed using sunny 16 and adjusting for the lack of light. As you can see I could have done a better job, but that's ok. It's good to practice metering by eye on tricky situations and the purpose of these roll was to see how the film performed.
All of these were shot around 6:30pm to 7:30pm. I developed them on Kodak Flexicolor C-41 chemicals using a Paterson tank. The negatives were scanned with my Epson V550 and cleaned up a little using Photoshop.
